Tower defense
Spider Defense: A cozy miniature tower defense
Cute teal spiders on round wooden platforms guard a glowing, web-wrapped egg from waves of garden bugs, across eight miniature worlds.
Build. Connect. Automate. Grow.A cozy idle factory game on sunny islands: every tile is one building, conveyor belts link them up, and a single wheat farm slowly grows into a whole economy.
The game
Tile Factory is a cozy idle factory game for phones, played in portrait with one thumb. Place a tile on the sea and it rises as a little grass block with one building on top: a farm, a mill, a bakery, a dock. Draw a conveyor belt between two tiles and goods start moving on their own.
Wheat becomes flour, flour and eggs become dough, dough becomes bread, and bread pays for the next idea. Sell at the docks, fill orders, research new tricks and sail on to new islands, each with goods of its own. The factory keeps running while you are away, and the game ends when every quest is cleared and the airship launches.
Highlights

Each tile holds one building, and it rises out of the sea when you place it. Move, rotate and upgrade tiles whenever you like, so a factory is never finished.
Drag from one tile to the next and goods start moving. Splitters, mergers, bridges, tunnels and filters arrive as your factory grows, but one simple belt is always enough to get going.

Two wheat make flour, flour and an egg make dough, and dough makes bread. Later chains run through glass, gears and furniture all the way to phones.
Factories keep working while the game is closed, and a Welcome Back card shows what they earned. Research stretches that time from 4 hours up to a full day.
Docks sell whatever arrives, though flooding the market softens the price. Orders pay extra, and research speeds up farms, belts and more.
Each map gets a live score out of 100 for flow, space, money and variety, with a grade, a breakdown and tips on what to improve next.
Keep the diamond view from the concept art, or turn the map straight on or look down from higher up. Upgrade every tile at once, or hold the button to keep upgrading one.
The layout follows the window, so on iPhone Duo it fits the outer screen, the inner screen and Split View.
Buildings
Thirty-five buildings, from a first wheat field to the plant that makes phones. Here are a few, each a 3D model from the game.

Iron ore into ingots, sand into glass.

Snow
Tables and chairs from planks, iron and fabric.

Volcano
Makes electronics, then phones.

City
Flies goods to other pads, even across islands.
Landmarks
Every island has a landmark in ruins. Finish the quests to bring it back, and it pays you back for good.

Grassland
Grassland farms and ranches run 10% faster.

Beach
One more order slot, and boat contracts appear.

Worlds
Each island has its own ground, its own goods and its own rules. Scenes below are from the game.

Island 1
Wheat, milk, eggs and logs become bread, cheese and packaged goods. Farms and ranches run 25% faster on the grass.

Island 2
Tomatoes, apples and fish, then sauce, juice, glass and bottled goods. Fishing Piers run 50% faster on the sand.

Island 3
Wool, iron and gears turn into tables and chairs. Crops slow down in the cold, so Greenhouses take over.

Island 4
Oil becomes plastic, then cosmetics and medicine. Crops struggle here until the Oasis is restored.

Island 5
Smelters run 50% faster on the basalt. Machine parts lead to electronics, and electronics lead to phones.

Island 6
Docks here pay 50% more, and Drone Pads fly goods over the belts, even across islands.

Island 7
The last island, above the clouds. Docks pay 25% more, and the Sky Harbor builds the airship for the finale.
Optional mode
You can finish the game without them. Techniques are six hands-on belt puzzles on a practice map that never touches your real factory, with up to three stars each for spending less.

Challenge 1
Three farms, one hungry mill. Merge them into a single belt.

Challenge 2
Feed three mills at full speed from one line.

Challenge 3
Share a short supply evenly between hungry tiles.

Challenge 4
A belt cuts the map in two, so go underneath it.

Challenge 5
One belt only carries so much. Open a second to move the rest.

Challenge 6
A shared belt has jammed. Give the spare goods a way out.
